A few days ago I post my review for ChefButler Supscription box.
November's box was Korean. I have never made Korean food and I admit I don't think I have ever had Korean food so I was scared of making these.
It was ok but I have never really been a big fan of ginger.Maybe if you like ginger you may like it but personally this just isn't for me.
Pajeon (Scallion Pancakes)
For some reason I can barely ever get pancakes cooked right and it isn't usually a big deal since I never liked pancakes anyways but I admit I really liked these even though this one just didn't want to cook properly but it was good anyways.
This is the dipping sauce for the scallion pancakes and I actually had to put a little less pepper flakes because this sauce was hot but it is so good with the scallion pancakes. We really liked it.
The scallion pancakes and the dipping sauce do take take long to make. The Cinnamon and ginger punch takes a little over 30 minutes but the Bibimbap took over an hour.
What I really like about ChefButler is that I got to try foods I have never had before and it got me a little bit more creative with the meal. I am not a great cook but the extra instructions helped a lot.
I am so happy that I got the chance to try out ChefButler and I got to try some Korean food.
If you love trying new foods this is a fantastic monthly box to get. I think I might subscribe to it in the near future because I want to try different foods and recipes instead of always the same ones I use all the time.
The subscription box costs $35/month for a box every month or $17.50/month for boxes every other month. If you use promo code “GEEKYGIRLREVIEWS” you will get 50% off the first month of your subscription.
