I was recently contacted to review Truvia Calorie-free sweeteners. I love sugar in my coffee and I am always happy to try out different sweeteners in my coffee so I couldn't resist accepting.
Anyways, I used this in my coffee first since a box of Truvia arrived just as I was making a cup of coffee. I couldn't even tell the difference.
A few days later I made smoothies for my husband and myself. I used a recipe that is on their site but I made a change to it. The recipe called for 1 cup of strawberries and 1 cup of blueberries but unfortunately I only had a bag of 4 mixed frozen berries so I used that . Did 2 cups of mixed berries instead and I must say it was very good.
Banana Berry Smoothie

- 1 cup (250 mL) ice
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL) + 1⁄2 tsp (2.5 mL) Truvía® sweetener spoonable*
- *or 4 packets Truvía® sweetener
- Add all ingredients to blender.
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Enjoy.

This was my 1st attempt to get off artificial sweeteners. I liked it! It takes as much as sweet n'low for each cup of coffee/tea(3 packs)..I should say it takes a little getting used to, it is less sweet that sweet n low(since natural sweet is less sweet anyhow) but you get used to it quite fast! and there's no aftertaste or anything like it. If you looking for something natural & with zero calories then you should give it a taste. I didn't like "stevia in the raw"
