Scott McCall, a teenager with a wild secret, continues to find himself caught in a supernatural war between hunters and werewolves. Scott must keep his forbidden romance with Allison a secret while keeping his friends and family safe from new Alfa wolf Derek. 

What makes “Teen Wolf” so popular amongst fans is the array of themes tackled by the show. From romance, to high school survival, the werewolves and their kin have explored various life scenarios, making it universally appealing. One scenario that comes up repeatedly is family drama. Most prevalent: forbidden relationships. How many parents have forbidden their high schoolers from dating people they did not approve of? It seems like every teen has a story about sneaking around their parents’ back to date or smooch with their honey.

For Allison Argent (Crystal Reed) and Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), their love and devotion to each other is greatly affected by the fact that her dad hates Scott and has gone out of his way to confront him. Allison struggles to be happy because she is continuously put in the middle. Should she be loyal to her sweetheart or her family? Should she be loyal to herself?
